Overview
Ramakrishna Math, Ulsoor, Bangalore, is a branch of the twin organizations Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur, Howrah, West Bengal, India. Ramakrishna Math is a universal spiritual movement that aims at the harmony among people of all religions, attainment of peace of mind and spiritual development of the human race. The movement believes in the social equality of all human beings and discourages any discrimination based on caste, creed, nationality or race. Both the Maths in Bangalore has been silently working towards the fulfillment of these goals since the last hundred years.
The Ramakrishna Math is aimed at the harmony of religions, spiritual fulfillment, all-round development of human faculties, social equality and peace for all humanity. These ideas and principles help people to realize their true potential and unfold their personality. These values help people on the path of personal growth and fulfillment.
Library
Library services can be availed upon nominal subscription. The books include philosophy, religion, ethics and lives of great saints in English, Kannada, and Sanskrit. it has about 3450 books. It is open in the evening between 04:30 PM and 06:30 PM.
