Bat Island Also referred to as The Pequeno Island, the Bat Island is ideal for adventure seekers. About a kilometer from Baina Beach of Vasco-da-Gama, the delight has a little beach and tiny green stretch. This is where one can enjoy snorkeling or simply spend a lazy day soaking up the charms of the setting. The Bat Island is famous for snorkeling and is considered a perfect destination for the snorkelers. For snorkeling, the training and equipment are provided by the tour organizers and operators. Tourists the Island stay there for the whole day and return back in the evening. But if you want a private hideaway for a night you can hire a boatman to reach you to the island. Ask the boatman to take you to Pequeno Island and come back the next morning. Be sure a night on the island would be the most thrilling experience. If you wish to visit the Pequeno or Bat Island of Goa, it would be best to put up in one of the hotels in Goa near Vasco Da Gama. The Island is surrounded by vivid coral reef. It would be a delightful experience to explore this magnificent star coral, brain coral, sea fans, sea whips, and many other sea creatures while snorkeling in the Pequeno Island. Apart from these, hundreds of colorful shoals can be seen swimming just near you. There are parrot fish, angel fish, squirrel fish, butterfly fish, groupers, snappers, triggerfish, lobsters, hawksbill turtle, sea cucumbers and sea urchins that you can see while you are exploring the sea. A visit to this beautiful Island will definitely be a fascinating and unforgettable experience.
