One must keep away from drugs and nudity in order to make the most of your holiday at the Velsao beach. In case of swimming one must check out with the lifeguards for the strength of the undercurrents even though it is considered safe. the vivacious Velsao beach is well connected to many places. In fact it is just 25 kilometers away from Panjim - the capital city of Goa. There are regular bus services also in terms of road transport from Margao, Colva and Vasco-da-Gama. In case of rail transport the Majorda and the Verna stations, and one can even ride a cycle from Vasco to the Velsao beach. Thus one must consider Velsao in case one is planning to holiday at a beach. The Velsao beach is breathtakingly beautiful and happens to be the most splendid broad beach that stretches for 20 km from Mobor to Betul.

Know Before you go

• There aren't any shacks for food or souvenir shopping. So, not a lot of hustle and bustle here.
• You won't find shacks here. except for season time. one or two... so you need to carry your snacks of food along. but make sure you don't spoil its beauty by the litter.
• Not for people looking for adventure sports.
