GRS Fantasy Park is one of Mysore city’s favorite tourist destinations. It is an amusement and water park for the entire family  40 acres of lush greenery amusement and water park Situated just 15 minutes from Mysore, on the Mysore-Bangalore highway, 6.8 km from Mysore Palace, 8.4 km from Mysore Zoo, 21 km from Chamundi Hill, 6 km from St. Philomena's Roman Catholic Cathedral, 15 km from Brindavan Gardens,  14 km Srirangapatna Fort, 13 km from Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary and 113 km from Wonderla Bangalore which is the biggest in India. 

the park is bound to enthrall children and adults alike, and some of the rides are bound to give an adrenaline rush. There are plenty of wet and dry rides, though little children will find the wave pool and lazy river quite fun and the adults will find it soothing on a hot summer day.

Thrill rides

• Dragon’s Den: This award winning dark ride, the first of its kind, takes you straight back to the Jurassic Age with super predators and fire breathing monsters! Walk on the soil of the ancient land and breathe in the air that has fear lingering in it.
• Columbia: Rush to grab a seat at the tip to get the maximum dose of butterflies in your stomach. Or seat yourself comfortably at the center and enjoy the mild thrill of the ride. Relive your childhood in this ride which will never lose its charm.
• AQUA TORNADO (WATER RIDE): Hear your scream get lost in the tornado, which engulfs you in a high speed 45°, from a height of 35 feet at 20 mph into a massive 60 feet diameter funnel. 900 people will face the wrath of the tornado per hour...do you want to be one of them?
• Aqua Racer: Challenge your friends to race you down the Aqua Racer! Brace yourself as you plummet down the tunnel and experience your share of swirls and hurls all the way down to the end. You can then share your experience with each other, for each of the six lanes has something different in store for you!
• Amazonia Ride: "Amazonia" is a ride that stands fast against the cement jungles that surround us, and takes you on a ride down the swollen Amazon flowing through thick rain forests. Leave urbanization behind as you speed through the spectacular land of Amazon on an escapade with your family.
• Pendulum Slide: Hold your breath as you oscillate 35 feet in the air. The sheer speed of sliding down the steep slope will get you higher on the other side while gravity will pull you down once again. Only when gravity and acceleration are done dealing with you will you be splashed into a pool of water. You have been warned!
• Free Fall Crazy Cruise: Get ready to scream your lungs out! For the free fall is going to take you sliding down a number of unexpected twists and turns, till a scream does escape you without you even realizing it!
• Wavy Crazy Cruise: Get ready for a crazy time at the Wavy Crazy Cruise! Slide down the undulating curves on your stomach at exhilarating speeds and be splashed into the waters for the perfect end. For this ride, you'd rather be on it than read about!
• Music Bob: Feel your hair stand up as you are whirled at a breakneck speed in a bob with the music. And you should know, we aren’t to blame if you find yourself yelling your lungs out and having so much fun that you just can’t take it anymore!

family-rides:

• Hawaiian Paradise – Interactive Water Play Systems: Escape reality and lose yourself in this Hawaii themed water ride that is a delight for people of all age groups. Let the kids splash water, the elderly waddle through it while the brave hearts face giant tilting buckets, water jets, water umbrellas, water cannons, water guns, water curtains, giant water slides and spouts that are spread through a vast area of 26,000 square feet.
• Swing Chair: Let your hair down and feel the breeze blowing through as you enjoy the swing chair. There is something about the ride that takes you back to childhood. Relive the high you got on swings as a kid, with this ride!
• Dashing Car: Somethings are just as amazing as they are. And that’s why Dashing Cars never loses its charm. The sheer joy of dashing into your friends’ cars and quickly escaping before they come back to get even, is something you can’t get enough of. So hop on into one and go dashing and crashing into everything that comes your way!
• Snow Sledge: "This ride lets you experience the thrill of sliding down a snow-capped mountain on a sled. So brace yourself and hop on the sled, for the only thing you will miss on this ride is the chilly mountain air whipping across your face! Besides the ‘cool’ set up, the ride is equipped with everything to give you the chill thrills."
• Float Slide: Hold on to your float as you go gushing down a series of twists and turns and end up in a pool of water ultimately. This is the perfect ride for our weak hearted souls who don't want to miss out on the fun!
• Red Indian Falls – A Themed Man Made Waterfalls: Peek through the window of time into the lives of the Red Indians of North America. Get transported to their world, with makeshift leather dwellings (Tepees), totem poles, and a huge 80 feet tall waterfall as the center of this attraction. Are you ready for the mind-blowing experience of 72,000 liters of water gushing at you from the top of the waterfall?
• Jal Tharang ( Wave Pool): Indulge in an almost real-life experience of plunging in the sea. Watch your little kids have the time of their lives as they jump the small waves or duck your friends in the large ones. The waves of fun just keep coming back endlessly in this 10,000 square feet pool!
• Aqua Dance Floor: "Who does not like dancing in the rain? With the cool refreshing shower of water and groovy music, the Aqua Dance Platform is where you want to be. Put all your worries behind and dance your way to glory, surprising everyone with your crazy dance moves!"
• Lazy River (Jal Gamini): Had too much excitement for the day? Or just waiting till your nerves calm down a little before the next enthralling ride? Why not just relax and be carried down the lazy river instead?! Just sit back and enjoy the view as the river carries you lazily through tunnels and under bridges.
• 5D Virtual: Wade through exciting virtual lands with hoards of surprises at the 5D Virtual Ride. Get completely immersed with immersive 3D and a whole range of special effects such as water sprays, motion chairs, air blasts, aromas, bubbles and much more. Expect nothing but the unexpected throughout the entire ride!
• Telecombat: Arm yourself as you enter this spatial battle. Buckle up in a ‘fighter plane’ as you cut through the air at lightning speed, weaving your way through the other planes moving in a deathly tightly knit circle with you! Choose your side wisely, for ultimately the high you get, is going to get you down.
• Rock Climbing: This artificial rock wall is perfect if you want to experience the simulating effect of rock climbing or mountaineering. With secure, firm foot-rests probing from the surface, you can get a taste of real rock climbing. The safety gear ensures utmost safety, giving you all the freedom to be a daredevil. One can also take a free fall from 180 feet when they reach the top of the wall.
• Thunder Slide: When thunder sounds, lightning strikes! And it bolts you down the slide at a breakneck speed! So, hold on tight! For this ride shows all the indications of its plans of brewing a storm!
• Catapult: Get up and get springing with Catapult! This ride is sure to leave you bubbling and bouncing with happiness. Rebound and rejoice. Get ready for some flippity floppity fun!
• Multiline Slide: If Thunder Slide intimidates you, fret not, for you still have Multilane Slide! Zoom down from the second story on your tummies holding on to your sliders tightly, cutting through the air!

• Carousel: You never really grow too old to take the carousel. The sheer drops and free falls might give you the adrenaline rush, but the carousel fills you up with so much more! Pick your favorite animal and gallop away into the rings of happy giggles that surround you while you take the ride.
• Caterpillar: Let the children unleash their imagination as they take this spinning caterpillar ride! Watch happiness unfurl its wings and flutter around your kid as they hop onto the caterpillar and have the time of their lives!
• Baby Train: Nothing widens the toothless smiles more than taking a ride into the faraway land on their own! So infuse the little souls with a sense of freedom and independence as you wave them goodbye and let them embark on the journey on their own!

• Play Area: An open playground, to the curious child is nothing but endless ways to have fun. Watch your kid run around each other, slide down the slides or (on the rare occasion!) sit down in peace. Each kid is their own boss here!
• Kids Pool: At GRS, there is something for everyone! And this delightful pool is crafted especially for the tiny tots. With a number of slides designed just for the little ones, along with water curtains and other entertainment options this pool will leave them with unbridled happiness. Watchful lifeguards present to ensure that no accidents tarnish the eventful day.
• Aqua Trial: Splish and splash of the water accompanied by the pitter patter of it, is enough to make the kids as happy as happy they can be. Let them zoom down the slide and play in the water under the watchful eye of the guards, and you of course!
• Atlantis: What more does a kid desire than to be allowed to play in the water without being constantly nagged? Let them live this dream of theirs at the Atlantis! Slides to zoom on and inviting water to splash in. Heck yeah! It's every kid's dream come true!!

Tips

• 5D Virtual Ride additionally chargeable at 40 INR per person.
  
• There are special washrooms and wheelchair tracks in certain parts of the park.
• lockers are available at a cost of Rs. 100 out of which 50% is refundable at the time of handing back the locker key. 
• Please show your Student ID Card at the park reception to avail 10% discount on your entry tickets.
  
• You can rent sterilized swimwear or purchase it at the park.
• There are trained lifeguards at the pools.

• No compulsory dress code for visitors but recommended to use decent Nylon or Lycra swimwear.

• Please follow the queue system where ever necessary.
• Food from outside, weapons, narcotic substances, and alcohol is strictly prohibited inside the park. Please see park rules for further clarifications.
• Smoking is prohibited in the common areas of the park, especially near the water bodies and kids zones. Kindly use the specified area for the same.
• For few amusements such as Columbus, rock climbing, pendulum, aqua tornado, aqua racer minimum height requirement is above 4.5 ft.
• Many of the rides are thrilling in nature and guests with medical conditions such as hypertension, heart disease or any other life-threatening conditions including pregnant women should abstain from using such rides.
  
• If you are pregnant you are advised to avoid both dry rides and wet rides. But you can enjoy the kids’ pool, lazy river, ADF and wave pool. Also, guest with heart ailments, high blood pressure or any chronic health condition is advice to restrain from thrill and adventure rides/slides.
• Please follow the safety instructions of the lifeguards, ride operators and displayed instructions near rides for safe riding.
