Attukal Waterfalls is located between Munnar and pallivasal. situated about 9 km from Munnar in Idukki District of the southern state of Kerala, attukal waterfalls that usually presents a panoramic view of milk is flowing uninterruptedly from the green mountain. It was like a beautiful angel with soft, shimmery and glittery white wings is coming down to earth from heaven. Attukal Waterfalls is one of the most attractive scenes that you can look at during your stay at Munnar. The place is also ideal for long trekking and hiking. one can treak to reach the bottom of the waterfalls or you can go by vehicle. Though trekking through green valley gives a beautiful opportunity to see the multiple views of falls. one can easily climb and sit on the rocks and play with water. The sight of the roaring water and the rolling hills around is something which you can never delete from your memories. You can also plan trekking along the hill slopes of this waterfall. monsoon season is the best time to visit this waterfalls, during monsoon Attukal waterfalls wears a different avatar and dangerously beautiful with plenty of water. 

Know Before you go

• Need to drive through a private road. Small road. On the way, stop the car and take photos and return.
•  approach road is broken and in very bad condition yet amazing with a lot of curves.
• best time to visit this place on monsoons. 
• You can also trek from the main road to the fall location
